Jack's career as an artist began in steel working, then teaching metal work at a Vancouver college where the freedom to create his own designs soon led him to start up Anvil Island Design. Giant sized slugs actually do exist here! These stunning, handcrafted replicas are made on Salt Spring Island of recycled glass and can be placed  anywhere! A delightful feature in a garden, a pond, or as an aquarium ornament. This particular slug is slightly bent and looking downward which makes them the perfect shelf sitter! They are approximately 6 inches long and do not move!
