Jack’s career as an artist began in steel working, then teaching metal work at a Vancouver college where the freedom to create his own designs soon led him to start up Anvil Island Design. The herbs, fruit and flowers in the blends have been sustainably and organically grown at Queen Bee Farms in Malahat B.C., just north of Victoria, on Vancouver Island. All of the blends have been hand crafted in small batches for optimum freshness and quality.
The tea is sourced from fair trade and farm direct producers who practice environmentally conscious land stewardship.

They believe that humans may transform into animals, birds, fish and mythical creatures and back again. Once transformed they take on the essence and spirit of that being, Their art reflects this transformation. Made of black crushed marble, this pole is carved in the traditional style. The Killer Whale is the lord of the oceans, a symbol of long life. It is believed that great chiefs turn into killer whales when they pass on into the nether world. This illustrates the close link between man and Whale.
